Tavistock Avenue, E17 – Side Kitchen Extension by Ibex®

At Tavistock Avenue, Ibex Builders® undertook a substantial side kitchen extension combined with major structural reconfiguration to transform the ground floor of the property.

The works required the controlled demolition of a primary load-bearing wall, full temporary structural support, and the installation of new steel beams to open up the layout and create a larger, more fluid living space.

Ibex Builders also completed comprehensive upgrades to the electrical and plumbing systems, removed redundant chimney structures, and carried out a full refurbishment of the entire ground-floor area. The newly formed kitchen extension incorporates two large rooflights, drawing natural light deep into the space and enhancing both usability and visual appeal.
