Brompton Hotel SW7 – Exterior Restoration by Ibex®

This commercial hotel project in SW7 saw Ibex Builders® undertake an extensive façade restoration to stabilise and enhance the external envelope of the Brompton Hotel.

Years of exposure had resulted in fractured stonework, failing mouldings, and widespread surface contamination across the front elevation.

The restoration works focused on carefully cleaning the façade, repairing and rebuilding weakened sections, consolidating original stone elements, and reinstating decorative features in keeping with the building’s architectural character. Particular attention was given to structural integrity and surface detailing to ensure long-term durability.

Ibex Builders returned the hotel frontage to a secure, well-finished condition, significantly improving its appearance while respecting the original design. The completed commercial restoration strengthened both the visual presence and performance of this prominent London hotel.
